A band of muscular tissue surrounds the Chitons body called a girdle. The girdle usually has bristles, spike, or snake like scales on it. And Chitons move using their foot, which is a majority of their body, the Chitons foot is a lot like the foot of a snail. The Chiton has a three-chambered heart located towards the back of the Chitons body.
Chitons have a mantle cavity which has narrow passages on either side, between the girdle and body. Water flows in from near the mouth and then out near the anus. Numerous gills hang down into the mantle cavity and absorb oxygen from the water.
The Chiton has a unique mouth, its mouth is located under it and has a tongue like structure called a radula. The Radula has multiple rows of 17 teeth each, the teeth are covered in magnetite, which is a hard oxide mineral.
Dont mind the sound this is just to give a better idea of how the Chiton moves and how its moth works.
