Leopard Flatworms get their name from their leopard like pattern on their back. They move a lot like the cuttlefish, it uses it thin flat body and moves in a wave like motion to swim through the ocean. Since Leopard Flatworms are so thin they are able to live under rocks in coral reefs, which is the habitat they can be found in. The Leopard Flatworm has a well developed muscular system. The flatworm is composed of a subcuticular (below the epidermis) muscular system made up of circular, length, and width muscles close to the epidermis (the outer layer of cells covering an organism). The Leopard Flatworm is capable of vast contraction and stretching.
